The Kelvin LED Green task lamp from FLOS is the task/desk lamp that has it all, in fact it's the world's first interactive task light. There are two different versions of the Kelvin LED Green Light, Version I includes a Daylight Sensor and Version II has a Daylight Sensor & a Motion Sensor.
This task light works just like any other Kelvin LED task light, up until the green mode is activated by pressing and holding the on/off button. Once the 'green' mode becomes activated, the light output regulation sets in and the light intensity omitted from the lamp will depend upon the amount of light on the surface. The high output is at 325 Lumen compared to the 270 for the standard Kelvin LED and consumption is reduced to 7.5 watts.
As mentioned the Version II utilizes a motion sensor. This is a specially designed sensor entitled the 'FLOStouch (TM) Technology' touch sensor, it is activated via a switch. It allows for manual control of the ON/OFF switch and the bypassing of the motion detector. Keep in mind that the Daylight Sensor and Motion Sensor function independently of each other.
