20-feet long and almost 10-feet high, this wedding chapel is completely original. Made almost entirely of?6,561-feet of?flexible white ventilation pipes by the?'crochet expert' Sandy de Lange and the architectural firm DUS?architects. This temporary dome was created with ventilation pipes that have been crocheted into an intimate space with a maximum occupancy of 50 people.

"The Wedding Chapel" was commisioned by Villa Escamp as a sort of modern rendition of a yurt with the use of a temporary city hall in mind for the Escamp district in The Hague. The soft acoustics and beautiful lighting make it the perfect place for couples to tie the knot. Although temporary, there are rumors that a full fledged crocheted ventilation pipe wedding chapel is in the works. with an application pending.
