Created by designers Ursula Lavrencic and Auke Touwslager the Cell Phone Disco?blends art, music and technology into a glowing red space of LED light. The same sensor light illumination happens when a call is placed within the vicinity of the light installation. By bringing cell phone calls to life, participants to the Cell Phone Disco installation can see how cell phones are not just a hidden communication apparatus, but something in our everyday lives that effect not only cell phone users but the people and space around them.
