Print technology supplier Screen has unveiled what it claims to be the market’s fastest digital label press
The Truepress Jet L350UV, which was previewed at last year’s Drupa print show in Germany, can print up to 16sqm of label stock every minute on a 350mm-wide web.
The machine has just become commercially available following last year’s preview and it will be on show at this September’s Labelexpo in Brussels.
In the EMEA region, it will be sold through specialist label technology supplier Dantex.

According to Screen, the Truepress Jet L350UV provides a wider colour gamut than is typical with the four-colour process, by using Screen’s proprietary high-definition UV inks.
An optional opaque white ink is said to further boost colour vibrancy, while the range of substrate options includes printing on transparent film and metallic foil.
The press is engineered as either a roll-to-roll press for near-line finishing, or with the ability to feature automated in-line finishing such as lamination, die-cutting, foiling, coating and embossing etc.
The first European showing of the Truepress Jet L350UV will be at Labelexpo Europe (24-27th September 2013, Brussels) where it will be demonstrated by both Screen (Stand 9G50) and Dantex (Stand 5D20).
