According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in June this year Turkey's season and calendar adjusted monthly industrial production increased by 0.1 percent compared to May, while the calendar adjusted index was up 1.4 percent compared to June 2013.
In June, the index for the production of basic metals in Turkey decreased by 1.8 percent month on month and fell by 0.3 percent compared to June 2013.
The index for the production of fabricated metal products in June decreased by 0.6 percent month on month but was up by 6.4 year on year.
