The Ad Astra Light Installation Was Among The"10 Things to See at The Art-After-Dark Show"

According to CTV News, the Ad Astra light installation was among the “10 things to see at the art-after-dark show” at the BATA Shoe Museum. Sure this sounds a little unusal, a light exhibit at a shoe museum. To clear up any misunderstandings the entire exhibit is part of a city wide art display that takes part annually in Toronto, Canada.  Scotiabanks’s Nuit Blanche is know for its fun interactive and always intrigiung installations that pop up all around the city via different artists in different stages of their careers.

This light installation uses hanging large iridescent globes to entice and illuminate the space. The phrase Ad astra comes from a Latin meaning “to the stars” and the designers at [R]ed[U]x Lab have brought the stars here to earth with their celestial exhibit.
