The new version of the standards of CQC Mark certification on Audio & Video products GB8898-2011 has been promulgated on Dec. 30th ,2011,,and will be implemented on Nov. 1st , 2012, instead of the old version of GB8898-2001.The new standards of CQC Mark certification on Information Technology Equipments GB4943.1-2011 has been promulgated on Dec. 30th ,2011,,and will be implemented on Dec. 1st , 2012, instead of the old version of GB4943-2001.The details as the following,
1 For those certificates which have been issued based on the old version of the standards, the certificates holders should make a version change certification application to CQC and do the sample test from this Notice been released. Version Change certification should be finished after the implementation date of the new version standards and before the finishing date of the first follow-up inspection(including the terms of correction ), the certificates should be suspended if the version Change certification is not finished in this term which mentioned above.
2 For those certificates which have been issued based on the old version of GB4943 standards, version change certification should be finished before Dec. 1st, 2013, the certificates should be suspended if the version Change certification is not finished in this date which mentioned above, and will be withdrawn if it still not finish on Mar. 1st , 2014. For those certificates which have been issued based on the old version of GB8898 standards, version change certification should be finished before Nov. 1st, 2013, the certificates should be suspended if the version Change certification is not finished in this date which mentioned above, and will be withdrawn if it still not finish on Feb. 1st, 2014.
3 For those applications based on the old version of GB4943, if these applications have been received before Dec. 1st , 2012, the certificates could be issued by the old version, and the valid date of the certificates should be Nov. 30th, 2012.For those applications based on the old version of GB8898, if these applications have been received before Nov. 1st , 2012, the certificates could be issued by the old version, and the valid date of the certificates should be Oct. 31st , 2012.
4 If any change certification applied during this version change term, the certification shall be taken based on the new version of the standards, and the valid date of the certificate will be continued. If the companies announced to use the old version of standards GB4943, the valid date of the certificate should not exceed before Dec. 1st , 2012. If the companies announced to use the old version of standards GB8898, the valid date of the certificate should not exceed before Nov. 1st , 2012.
5 For those certificates which have been issued based on the old version of GB4943 and also the certified products which have been already manufactured, marketed and not produced anymore before Dec. 1st , 2012, there is no need to change the certificates. For those certificates which have been issued based on the old version of GB8898 and also the certified products which have been already manufacturer, marketed and not produced anymore before Nov. 1st , 2012, there is no need to change the certificates.
6 Considering the special environment of using the whole appliances,the components should be suitable for using in the whole appliances through the special environment, such as "altitude" and "climate conditions" etc., and the conclusion of the related testing report and/or the certificates should be issued based on the new version of the standards, to mark the "altitude" and the "climate condition".
