Tullia's Recalling Italian Meatless Pasta Sauce

Tullia's is recalling Italian Meatless Pasta Sauce as it contains pH levels high enough to allow the growth of Clostridium botulinum.

Tullia's Recalls Italian Meatless Pasta Sauce Over Possible Health Risk

The product associated with the recall include 16oz and 32oz packs of Italian Meatless Pasta Sauce bearing code 530140.

The recalled product has been distributed to Rosauers, Yokes Fresh Market(s); Egger's; Trading Company Stores in only Spokane, Spokane Valley; Main Market; and Albertson's.

Tullia's has initiated the recall after one batch of sauce was found to contain high levels of pH, during a records review by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.

No illnesses have been reported associated with the recall.

Consumption of food contaminated with Clostridium botulinum may cause botulism, a serious and potentially fatal foodborne illness.
