Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan has unveiled the 2014 Nissan Versa Note, a revamped version of the Versa, at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) held at Detroit in the US and will be on sale in the country by summer 2013.
The hatchback is powered by a 1.6L DOHC 4-cylinder engine that is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission or 7-speed Xtronic CVT transmission that generates an output of 109hp at 6,000rpm and 107lbft of torque at 4,400rpm.
Nissan North America vice president, general manager Al Castignetti said: "At Nissan, innovation is more than just a new feature or technology, it's about helping people live their lives a little better, a little easier."
The car features 102.4inch wheelbase, multi-reflector halogen headlights, rear combination lights with aero flares, fog lights, heated sideview mirrors, and Divide-N-Hide Adjustable Floor With the 60/40-split fold-down rear seat.
Features of the hatchback include the AM/FM/CD/Aux-in audio system with four speakers, 12V power outlet, front door pockets with bottle holders, dual front and rear cup holders, heated front seats, USB input with iPod control, steering wheel-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls.
Additionally, the car has around view monitor that uses four small cameras fixed on the front, side and rear of the vehicle, 15inch steel wheels or 16inch aluminum-alloy wheels with all-season tires are available.
