The hero sheep can be seen skateboarding and stunt biking, with each animation accompanied by genuine Shaun the Sheep sounds.

Augmented Reality sticker firm, Mardles has teamed with Aardman to launch a new range based on the popular character Shaun the Sheep.

In what marks the first licensed characters sets for the British start-up, the new range features two collections – Shaun to be Wild and Mayhem in the Meadow – priced at £5.99 each.

Each collection features 12 stickers in six different designs and will allow kids to take Shaun the Sheep on a variety of adventures through Augmented Reality, including riding a skateboard or stunt bike.

The hero sheep can even be seen ordering a pizza, playing a trumpet or capturing his own selfie, with each animation accompanied by genuine Shaun the Sheep sounds.

The release of the sticker collection coincides with Shaun the Sheep’s return to TV this September with a new series of 20 episodes hitting CBBC.

Each sticker is reusable and can be placed on any flat surface before coming to life via the free Mardles app for iOS, Android and Amazon.

Mardles co-founder said: “I can hardly believe how far we have come in less than a year. From selling more than 350,000 packets of Mardles in the UK< US, Canada and Europe to now partnering with an iconic brand like Aardman and a worldwide hit such as Shaun.”

Rob Goodchild, head of licensing at Aardman, added: “It’s great to be working with an innovative British company, giving our fans another way to play with Shaun the Sheep.

“The sticker packs look really good and we have had a lot of fun working with the Mardles team to bring the product to market.”
