O'Brien Fine Foods Is Set to Expand Its Manufacturing Facility in Kildare County

O’Brien Fine Foods, a producer of cooked hams, sausages, rashers and puddings, is set to expand its manufacturing facility in Kildare county, Timahoe, Ireland, with an investment of €3m.

The project, which is being supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through Enterprise Ireland, is expected to create 51 new jobs over the next three years.

It allows the company to invest in major new product development and expand operational capacity to cater to the increasing demand for its products and roll-out its product range internationally.

O'Brien Fine Foods source Bill O'Brien said, "The long term expansion plans of the business are to further develop our presence in Ireland, coupled with particular growth in our exports."

Enterprise Ireland Food Division manager Michael Cantwell said, "Enterprise Ireland has worked closely with O'Brien Fine Foods in supporting its strategic investment and development to drive continued international growth."

"We look forward to working with this exciting company as they embark on this ambitious expansion plan while growing and developing their international sales - sustaining and creating jobs in Ireland."
