Release New Family Hatchback, Pulsar

Japan-based automaker Nissan Motor has launched a new family hatchback vehicle, the Pulsar, which is said to use the same design as Qashqai, X-Trail and Note vehicles.

The new hatchback is powered by all-turbocharged engine range including a 1.2L DIG-T gasoline providing an output of 115PS, the 1.5L dCi generating 110PS and 260Nm of torque as well as a 190PS 1.6L turbocharged petrol engine, which will be offered from early 2015.

Pulsar's powertrain is paired to Nissan's advanced XTronic automatic transmission and offers CO2 emissions of about 95g/km.

With the deployment of new technologies in the Pulsar, Nissan strengthens the wide number of features it offers for the premium or luxury models.

Features of the vehicle include Nissan's advanced Safety Shield, which is a suite of systems and technologies that jointly offer safety, while the car also has Forward Emergency Braking, Moving Object Detection, Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Warning systems.

According to the company, Nissan Pulsar is the only car in its sector to offer Moving Object Detection, Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Warning as standard on at least one model in the range.

The Pulsar also sports Nissan's second-generation NissanConnect system with features such as full smartphone integration, Google Send-to-Car, while offering and access to a wide variety of apps.

Additionally, ,the Pulsar ahs new LED headlamps technology, which was first introduced to the Qashqai and X-Trail and offers white light with 50% less power compared to conventional bulbs.
