American chain of drive-in restaurants Sonic has added new Asiago Caesar Chicken Club Sandwich to its line of sandwiches, for a limited period of time.
Sonic Asiago Caesar Chicken Club Sandwich is available with grilled all white-meat chicken on a whole grain ciabatta bun with Asiago cheese, Sonic's signature Caesar dressing, bacon, sliced tomatoes and romaine lettuce.
Commenting on the launch Sonic Product Innovation vice president and chef Claes Petersson said the company has worked on a wide range of ingredients in order to determine the suitable additions to the chicken club.
"I am especially proud of our signature Caesar dressing sauce. It is an aioli base, which means garlic mayonnaise in French, and it's one of my all-time favorite sauces. The crispy bacon addition takes it to an even higher level!," added Petersson.
Currently, Sonic has more than 3,500 drive-ins serving approximately 3 million customers every day across the country.
