ViewSonic Introduces New LED Displays with Advanced Ergonomic Designs

New LED displays deliver a more comfortable viewing experience with Flicker-Free Technology, Blue Light Filter, unique ViewMode settings, and advanced ergonomic designs

ViewSonic Corp., a leading global provider of visual solution products, launches a series of LED displays that are specifically designed to offer a more efficient and comfortable viewing environment to meet the needs of various market segments. These displays include the VG2233Smh, VG939Sm, VA951s, VX2263Smhl-W, VX2363Smhl-W, VA2455Sm, VX2858Sml, and VX2880ml.

ViewSonic has applied eye-care technology into our complete product lines from VA to VG to VX series. The newly launched 22-inch VG2233Smh Full HD multimedia display, along with the other displays in this view-enhancing series, include Flicker-Free Technology and a Blue Light Filter that both ease comfort and reduce eye fatigue. Flicker-Free Technology completely eliminates screen flickering at all brightness levels, helping to reduce eyestrain that comes from long periods of viewing.

ViewSonic’s proprietary Blue Light Filter allows users to dim the blue light levels to reduce side effects of prolonged blue light exposure such as irregular circadian rhythm. These displays also feature unique ViewMode settings that deliver five preset user options, including “text,” “game,” “movie,” “web,” and “mono.” These scenario presets incorporate ViewSonic’s proprietary colour gamma adjustment to produce the best combination of colour and brightness modifications for the best viewing experience.

In addition, with advanced ergonomic features, these ViewSonic displays are designed to provide a greater range of adjustment for increased productivity and comfort. Whether editing a digital portrait, playing games, working on long documents or programming code, users can easily manage their contents by adjusting displays via swivel, pivot, tilt, and height adjust options. Users who stay for long hours in front of displays can reduce eyestrain and physical fatigue with ViewSonic’s eye-care technology and ergonomic design.

“Studies have shown that staring at displays for prolonged periods of time can be harmful to users’ eyes,” said Max Hsu, PM Director for ViewSonic Asia Pacific. “Our selected ViewSonic displays are specifically designed for commercial users who utilise their displays for long periods of time. These displays essentially eliminate all flickering and decrease the overall levels of blue-light emitted from the screen.”

ViewSonic’s Eco-mode energy-saving feature is built into all LED displays, offering settings that save up to 25% in electricity costs. In low ambient light, Eco-mode adjusts brightness and improves visibility, while reducing eye fatigue. With Eco-mode, the lifespan of the LED backlighting is also greatly increased which lowers the overall total cost of ownership.
