British grocery chain Tesco has withdrawn Mini Monkey Milk Chocolate Biscuits over possible allergy concerns.
According to the UK Food Standards Agency, the recall has been initiated as the product contains peanut protein that is not declared on the packaging,
The product associated with the recall is 125g (5 X 25g) Tesco Mini Monkey Milk Chocolate Biscuits with all date codes.
The company will also contact the relevant allergy support organisations which will notify their members about the recall.
No other Tesco products have been affected by the recall.
Consumption of the recalled product may cause possible health risk in people allergic to peanuts.
Customers who have bought the recalled product are advised not to consume it and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
