Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group announced on January 8 that it will publicly issue corporate bonds worth no more than RMB 5 billion ($796 million). The application for the issuance of the bonds has been approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission. The bonds are to be issued within six months of the approval.
