MANGO continues to consolidate its presence in Germany. Frankfurt, Hannover and Nuremberg, among other cities, are the locations that have been chosen to continue with the brand’s expansion plan in Germany over the coming months.

MANGO Increases Expansion in Germany with More New Stores

Maintaining the concept launched last October, the Megastores will be located in the busiest streets of these German cities. Consequently, Frankfurt will house the biggest store opened in Europe to date. Located in the heart of the city (Zeil 98-104), and with a surface area in excess of 3300 m2, the store, whose opening is planned for early August, will stock all the brand’s lines, including the recently-launched Violeta by MANGO.

MANGO will also open in the cities of Hannover and Nuremberg with megastores with surface areas in excess of 1300m2, respectively. In July, Hannover will open a new store at number 8 Bahnhofstrasse stocking all the brand’s lines, except for the menswear line. In Nuremberg, the new store (Karolinenstrasse 15) will open in August.

The cities of Bremen and Stuttgart have been added to the list of megastores for 2014, with stores in the Weserpark and Milaneo Shopping Centres. In the south of the country, Singen, (Hegaustrasse 23) will also house another store with the collection of all the lines on sale. The openings of these stores will take place during October and November.

Other major store openings in the country
MANGO’s commitment to expand in Germany now totals 126 stores in the country. The planned openings for 2014 are forecast to increase the number of stores to 136.

After the summer months, the firm will continue its expansion plan with store openings in other German cities. Thus, Recklinghusen and Stuttgart will stock the women’s line in the new stores located in the Palais-Vest and Gerber Shopping Centres, where a standalone H.E by MANGO store will also open. Furthermore, the capital will open store number 8 in the Mall of Berlin shopping centre (Leipziger Platz, 12) since the first store opening in 1998. All these new stores will open to the public during the month of September.

MANGO closed the 2013 financial year with a turnover of 1.846 billion euros, which represents an increase of 9% over 2012, and a profit of 120.5 million euros, 9% more than the previous year. Given the international presence of the brand, 83% of its turnover corresponds to foreign markets, while the remaining 17% corresponds to the Spanish market.
