Li Xiaolin has resigned as the chairman of the board of directors of China Power New Energy Development Company due to her work schedule.
She is currently the vice-president of China Datang Corporation, a state-owned power generation enterprise.
President of State Power Investment Corporation, Wang Binghua, will take over the position.
Li Xiaolin was named one of the International 50 Most Powerful Women in Business by Fortune in 2008
