Rieter Offers Customers Carrying out Spinning Tests with The 4 Spinning Processes in China

For customer spinning tests, all 4 end spinning technologies are now immediately available in the Rieter SpinCenter in Changzhou: the G 32/35 ring spinning machine, the K 44/45 compact spinning machine, the R 60 and R 923 rotor spinning machines and now also the J 20 air-jet spinning machine. In addition to the SpinCenter in Winterthur, Switzerland, this wide range of tests is now provided by a second SpinCenter.

Rieter offers its customers in China the opportunity to carry out spinning tests with the 4 end spinning processes at the SpinCenter in Changzhou. The customers provide the card sliver and Rieter processes this to finished yarn. Rieter can thereby demonstrate to customers the optimal process stages from the spinning preparation through to end spinning. With the spun yarn, the customers are given proof of the high yarn quality which Rieter systems produce.

Spinning tests for interested customers

In the SpinCenter, the spinning tests start with the optimal setting on the autoleveler draw frame. According to the customer’s wish and the type of raw material, carded or combed ring yarns, compact yarns, rotor yarns or air-jet yarns are spun. On the end spinning machine the yarn characteristics for the subsequent textile application are optimized. All yarns are tested for their wearing properties in the fully equipped Rieter textile laboratory – affiliated to the SpinCenter. The yarn data together with the ideal setting instructions, effectively the “recipe“for yarn manufacture, is summarized in a report for the “customer.

What is special about the customer spinning tests from Rieter is that the customers receive process recommendations covering the entire spinning preparation and not just setting recommendations for the end spinning machines. Especially for the air-jet spinning process, it is very important to adhere to the process recommendations in the spinning preparation in order to achieve a high level of efficiency. As Rieter is the only supplier worldwide to offer all 4 spinning processes, comparisons between these spinning processes are only possible at Rieter.

Great customer benefits

With the spinning tests in the SpinCenter, customers can test new processes – a secure basis for an investment decision at a later stage. The customer spinning tests in the Rieter SpinCenter have the advantage that the latest spinning technology is always used – combined with the comprehensive technological know-how of the Rieter technologists: a guarantee for success. Numerous customers have already used this service and have subsequently decided in favor of a production unit from Rieter.

Mutual discussion of the test results

Reading the results is one thing. Seeing and understanding is the other. Interested customers are therefore invited to attend their spinning tests and to thereby gather experience directly at the machines. The competent team in the SpinCenter draws up the test plans together with the customers and answers technological questions.

End producte from Rieter Com4 yarns

Finished fabrics, knits and end products – manufactured from Rieter yarns – are exhibited in the modern showroom in Changzhou. Following completion of the spinning test, the customer can see and feel there the advantages and the characteristics of the 4 different Com4 yarn types. The influences of the yarn properties are shown directly on the textile fabrics so that the customers can develop ideas for new areas of application for their yarns.
