Zebra Technologies Corporation has released little, tiny printers for iPods, iPhones and iPads that'll print payment receipts, tickets, proof of delivery, invoices and other documentation from Apple devices. "Made for iPod /iPhone /iPad " certified, iMZ mobile printers from Zebra Technologies also support the other leading smartphone and tablet platforms including Android , Windows Mobile and Blackberry.
As more retailers adopt mobile devices as their point of sale technology, you may never have to line up at a cash register again. "The last point of contact with a customer - often the point of sale - is critical to the customer's overall experience, whether that's a retailer checking out a shopper, a waiter processing a customer's check or a truck driver printing a receipt following a delivery," said Kevin Davies, Product Manager, Zebra Technologies. You're not going to get this in every store where you shop, but analysts are urging retailers to be aware of how their customers are using their devices and to encourage the use of mobile technology in their stores.
