Japan Based Showa Denko Has Reduced Operating Rates at Its Naphtha Cracker Plant

Japan based Showa Denko has reduced operating rates at its Naphtha Cracker plant.  

An official of Showa Denko informed fibre2fashion, “The plant is currently operating at 90% production capacity rate”.  

He further said, “The company operates one line of Naphtha Cracker which will undergo a periodic repair in April 2014”.  

The Naphtha Cracker located at Oita, Japan has an Ethylene production capacity of 695,000 tons per year and Propylene capacity of 425,000 tons per year.
