Toyota has unveiled a revised version of its flagship Prius c with new design and functional changes when compared to its previous version.
The car is powered by 1.5-Liter Aluminum 4-cylinder gasoline engine which is capable of producing 73 horsepower and pump 82 lb.-ft. of torque.
It also features 144-volt nickel-metal hydride battery pack that is capable of powering the vehicle alone.
The car comes with Hybrid Synergy Drive, which combines the output of the electric motor and gas engine through an innovative planetary-type continuously variable transmission.
Unlike the previous version, Toyota has given a vibrant exterior to the car which with a wide range of color palette which includes Moonglow, Blue Streak Metallic, Absolutely Red, and Black Sand Pearl.
The new feature includes redesigned single LED projector low- and high-beam headlights, and automatic climate control.
Toyota has also introduced an Entune Multimedia Bundle which features a 6.1-inch touch-screen display with USB 2.0 port and voice recognition.
For the safety of the passengers, the company has equipped the car with nine airbags, Star Safety System which includes Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA) and and Smart Stop technologies.
