Mercedes-Benz Will Launch Hybrid C 350 E Models

Mercedes-Benz has started taking orders for its plug-in hybrid Mercedes-Benz C 350 e vehicle.

The company is offering two variants of the latest hybrid vehicle which includes €50,961.75 Saloon and Estate worth €52,627.

The plug-in hybrid C 350 e models are expected to hit dealership starting this March.

The car is powered by a four-cylinder petrol engine along with a 6.38 kWh lithium-ion battery which can be charged through an external power source.

The systems total output can go up to 279 hp along with 340Nm of torque. The petrol engine alone can produces 211 hp and 350 Nm of torque and the electric motor can provide up to 60 kW of power and 340 Nm of torque.

The Saloon can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, and the Estate can do the same in 6.2 seconds

The fuel consumption of the vehicle is 2.1l per 100km and it has driving range of up to 31km in all-electric mode.

The vehicle has an on board charging system that can charge the vehicle in one hour and 30 minutes at a wallbox, and via a socket the charging will take around two hours.

The car will provide four operating modes which include HYBRID, E-MODE, E-SAVE and CHARGE and five transmission modes.

The equipment and appointment options of the C 350 e is similar to the ones found in C-Class but the company has added AIRMATIC air suspension as a standard feature along with a pre-entry climate control system that can be controlled using internet.
