On the front the car features cameras along with radar sensors for monitoring the surrounding of the car, for uninterrupted movement within the speed limits.
The car is capable of operating on its own and it can accelerate and apply the brakes if it comes too close to another vehicle.
Reportedly the driver of the sedan was able to take control to the vehicle as per requirement, and give control to the driver if it is unable to handle a particular situation or road condition.
Associated Press reported the driver of the car saying: "Honda is aiming to eliminate accidents, not just for the driver but for pedestrians and drivers of other cars."
The car is expected to be shown at the Intelligent 2014 Transport Systems World Congress in Detroit, but reportedly the vehicles will have commercial release in 2020 or beyond.
