Tesco Recalls Various Own-Brand Ambient Meals Due to a Production Fault

UK-based supermarket chain Tesco is recalling various own-brand ambient meals due to a production fault, as a result of which, the rice in some packs could become mouldy during storage, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

The products being recalled are 350g packs of Tesco Indian Chicken Jalfrezi; Tesco Szechuan Chicken; Tesco Chilli Con Carne; Tesco Chicken Tikka Masala; Tesco Beef in Black Bean Sauce; Tesco Sweet & Sour Chicken; Tesco Indian Chicken Korma; and Tesco Balti Vegetable Curry.

Tesco is recalling all date codes of these products. In addition, it has displayed product recall notices in stores to notify people about the recall.

Consumers who have bought these products have been urged not to consume them, but to return it to the store of purchase for a full refund.
