Land Rover, the British maker of Land Rover and Range Rover sport utility vehicles, has revealed new designing details of its upcoming Discovery Sport SUV, which now includes an option of three row seating that can accommodate six passengers.
The additional seating has been added to make it appealing to families and not just driving enthusiasts.
The company revealed the design change by camouflaging the wrap and giving a closer look to the additional seating.
Discovery Sport, which will be manufactured at the company's Halewood plant, would go on sale alongside the existing Discovery next year.
Land Rover design director and chief creative officer Gerry McGovern said: "As you would expect from a Discovery, the versatile Discovery Sport will feature optional 5+2 seating, offering spacious load space and configurable seating, while still retaining a more compact footprint than traditional 5-seat SUVs."
