Esdevium Games Has Set a 'Dobble Challenge' to Independent Retailers

Esdevium Games has set a 'Dobble Challenge' to independent retailers at this week's Toy Fair.

Toy Fair 2013: Esdevium Sets Dobble Challenge

It wants to continue the success of the game, after sales of Dobble soared at a Worcester toy indie thanks to strong in-store demonstrations.

The Dobble Challenge invites independent bricks and mortar stores to purchase 12 units of the game and receive a free copy to demonstrate in-store.

If the store is able to sell 100 or more copies of the game via demonstrations, Esdevium will credit £1 for each unit sold. The firm will also enter each successful toy shop into a grand prize draw to win a tablet or laptop.

Esdevium’s Ben Hogg said: "We’ve really seen the power of demonstrating Dobble in the last year, with some fantastic achievements.

"The game lends itself perfectly to demonstrating as it is quick, fun, varied and when people play it, they love it – and often buy it too.

"The Dobble Challenge is great as the more games the store sells, the more credit they collect. There is no upper limit to the credit they can receive either, so it is a real opportunity for indies and a great chance for us to show how with the right game, demonstrations can really work."

The promotion runs for 12 months from January 22nd.
