Car manufacturer Icona is planning to unveil its supercar Vulcano at the upcoming Shanghai Auto Show that will be held from 20 April to 29 April 2013 in China.
The car is expected to be powered by the V12 hybrid powertrain that will generate an output of 900hp while providing an acceleration of 0-200km/h (124mph) in about 10 seconds and top speed of about 350km/h (218mph).
Vulcano is a two-seater car and is designed in Italy by Italian motor engineer Claudio Lombardi, who is former Ferrari powertrain technical director.
The vehicle is based on its predecessor the Icona Fuselage concept that was designed by Icona design director Samuel Chuffart, according to the company.
Other vehicles to be introduced at the Shanghai Auto Show include the limited-edition two-seater electric sports car produced by the US based electric vehicle manufacturer Detroit Electric.
