Scania Delivers 108 Trucks From HOPI for The Truck Fleet.

Swedish commercial vehicle manufacturer Scania has delivered 108 Scania Streamline trucks to Czech Republic-based logistics company HOPI for the renewal of the truck fleet.

HOPI will use the new trucks for its operations in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.

The new Scania Streamline trucks are being delivered in line with the Ecolution by Scania product and service solution for lower fuel consumption and thereby reduced carbon footprint.

Ecolution is a toolbox that helps customers reduce costs and CO2 emissions while enhancing road safety. It is in operations across Europe.

It features carbon-optimised vehicle specifications, driver training, feedback through Scania Fleet Management on real-time environmental performance and a maintenance agreement.

Drivers of HOPI will be trained to ensure that fuel consumption is as low as possible within the scope of this program.

HOPI transport director Eduard  Sneidar said: "we will test these vehicles in our operations in preparation for a similar upgrade during the second half of 2014."
