Kardemir, the largest steelmaker in Turkey has commissioned SMS Meer to install new wire rod and steel round bar mill for expansion. Kardemir has also planning to build its fifth blast furnace by next year along with this on-going project for production of high alloy steel, bearing steel, free cutting steel, spring steel and targeting to increases annual production volume to 1.4 million tons. The company expected to fulfill demand needed in automotive and manufacturing sectors.
