Change of Leadership at Keystone Clearwater Solutions

Ned Wehler, the president and CEO of American Water Works Co Inc subsidiary Keystone Clearwater Solutions, will retire with effect from 1 December 2016.

Wehler will be replaced by Keystone’s current president and chief operating officer Daniel Dalton.

“When American Water decided to acquire Keystone in 2015, among the reasons were Ned and Dan,” said Susan Story, American Water’s president and CEO. “Their shared commitment to safety, protecting the environment and superior customer service reflect American Water’s values and matter deeply as we grow our business. While we will miss Ned, we know Dan will continue to lead Keystone to serve the immediate and long-term needs of its customers with professional-quality service and dedication to excellence.”

As the president and chief operating officer of Keystone, Dalton currently manages all aspects of the company’s operations, providing direct oversight and management of all water transfer, pipeline engineering, construction management, transportation and other water-transfer projects and operations for Keystone throughout the Appalachian Basin.

Dalton works out of Keystone’s headquarters in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He graduated from West Chester University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in geology.

Founded in 2009, Keystone Clearwater Solutions is a water management company that provides customized water sourcing, transfer and hydraulic fracturing support, including pumps and filtration, for shale gas operators.
