McKee Foods is set to launch Drake's cakes on 23 September 2013, making the product available at supermarkets, supercenters, value retailers and convenience stores throughout northeast US.
The company will unveil the Devil Dogs, Coffee Cakes, Ring Dings and Yodels varieties.
McKee Foods Marketing & Sales executive vice-president Chris McKee said the launch of these top four varieties is just the beginning for Drake's.
"We're excited to bring Drake's cakes back. We've been working to ensure that loyal Drake's fans enjoy the same great experience they remember, and we can't wait to hear what they have to say," McKee added.
Earlier this year, McKee Foods acquired Drake's snack cake brand from the Old HB, formerly known as Hostess Brands, for $27.5m.
