Nissan Bolstered Its Crossover Supercar Juke-R 2.0 with Supercar Engine in The UK

Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan has bolstered its crossover supercar Juke-R 2.0 with a 600hp GT-R supercar engine at Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.

The new model, based on an improved Nissan introduced in Europe last year, flaunts the 'R' matte black, in what has been stated to offer a more muscular, bolder and powerful visage.

Nissan Europe marketing communications general manager Gareth Dunsmore said: "The Juke-R has become an iconic Crossover supercar, and with the launch of the latest Juke model last year, it was the natural choice to upgrade the original Juke-R with added power and even bolder styling.

"The Juke-R 2.0 is a perfect 'crossover' of the best bits of Nissan - real innovation showcasing our crossover prowess fused with the excitement of the GT-R supercar engine."

Claiming to provide personalization options, the model has a new lamp shape, LED running lights and LED bulbs in the taillights, along with a Nissan V-motion grille at the front.

The cooling apertures of the bumper, said to be derived from 100% carbon fiber, have also increased two-fold to fit the requirement for an enhanced engine cooling. Similar is the material for the rear bumper that shows a visual carbon diffuser.

Besides, the rear winglets of the car have been forged out of one piece carbon fiber design.
