American automotive company Ford Motor is set to launch the upgraded version of its Ford Explorer vehicle, the new 2015 Ford Explorer XLT, in late June 2014.
The new utility vehicle will come with a sport-inspired appearance package including better comfort and technology along with new colors and features.
Ford Explorer brand manager Matt Zuehlk said, "We know consumers love the look of Explorer Sport; with this package, you get that for Explorer XLT. It looks bold and rugged, and offers impressive technology at a surprising value."
The 2015 Ford Explorer XLT includes a 20-inch machined aluminum wheels featuring painted pockets, black body-side cladding and roof rack rails.
Other features of the vehicle include a Magnetic Metallic painted grille, mirror caps and liftgate appliqué, the EXPLORER hood badge and body-color door handles.
Ford Explorer XLT's interiors will include leather-trimmed, heated front seats with Miko suede inserts and contrast stitching, floor mats with special badging and auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Technology upgrades of the vehicle include SYNC with MyFord Touch, two 4.2-inch color LCD screens in the instrument cluster, an 8-inch color LCD touch screen in the Meteorite Black center stack, two USB ports as well as an SD card reader.
