Bimbo Bakeries USA Is Voluntarily Recalling Its Bakery Products Across The US

Bimbo Bakeries USA, the American arm of Mexican baking company Grupo Bimbo, is voluntarily recalling its bakery products across the US due to the possible presence of flexible wire.

According to the company, the fault has been caused due to a faulty screen at a third party flour mill.

The products being recalled are Sara Lee Thin Style Buns with best by dates prior to and including 17 February.

Other products being recalled are breads that were sold under the following brands: Arnold, Brownberry, Earthgrains, Farm, Harmons, L'oven Fresh, and Stroehmann. These products bear the best by dates prior to and including 20 February.

The company has asked consumers to check if they have the affected products in their homes. Consumers who have purchased the recalled product can return the product to its place of purchase for a full refund.

Bimbo Bakeries said that it is working closely with the third party flour mill to avoid this issue in the future.
