BT9 Upgraded Its Xsense Automated Data Collection and Analytics System.

BT9, an Israeli-based cold chain management solutions provider, has upgraded its Xsense automated data collection and analytics system.

With this development, the company has expanded its data collection and analysis capabilities beyond fresh produce to include food products such as meat and poultry, fish and seafood, dairy, ice-cream, chocolate, snacks and pharmaceuticals.

The advancements include Xsense HiTags sensor, Version 2.0, which can be installed in cartons, pallets, storage areas, fields, facilities, delivery docks and trucks, can now monitor a wider range of temperatures from -35°C to 50°C.

The data is automatically transmitted to a communication unit which is available in fixed, portable and vehicle-mounted formats. These units transmit data obtained from the HiTags along with their GPS location to BT9's cloud-based servers, enabling real-time responses to identified risks.

Advancements also include a new online application for benchmarking and risk mitigation from any PC, laptop; new analytics, management information and logistic scoring reports and customized reports.

BT9 CEO Israel Ben-Tzu said, "As we continue to expand our innovative technologies and complimentary services, we are able to increase the number of global areas and industry sectors we can support."

The company recently opened a new office in North America to cater to the demand in the US market.

BT9 is offering a wide range of complementary solutions, such as sophisticated container designs and modified atmosphere packaging to further maximize efficiencies in the supply chain.
