Sharp says that sales target in 2014 will not be affected by this change and the company will benefit from it after selling fixed asset such as logistics base.

From Sharp's overseas market perspective, China has become the largest market. Panels, TVs and air purifiers are Sharp's main business in China. Sharp plans to concentrate on mobile phone business because of the loss in TV panels 2 year ago and unsuccessful negotiations with Foxconn.

Sharp has been Xiaomi's mobile phone screen provider for a long time. Janpanese media reports that Xiaomi's high-end smartphone screens are provided by Sharp. In the second half of last year, Xiaomi ordered 1 million IGZO screens used in smartphones from Sharp.
