AkzoNobel Appointed Marten Booisma The Company's New Executive Committee Member

AkzoNobel has appointed  Marten Booisma the company's new executive committee member responsible for human resources. He will officially take up the position of chief human resource officer on October 1st.

Boosma has been Chief Human Resource Officer at Royal Ahold since 2007 and will succeed Marjan Oudeman, who is leaving AkzoNobel to become president of Utrecht University.

Employed by Royal Ahold since 1999 - when he joined as director of management development Europe - Booisma previously worked for Unilever and Shell in various HR positions.
