Catering to Tater Tot lovers across the country, the culinary experts at Huddle House have taken the well-loved and fondly-remembered crunchy potato nuggets to a whole new level by layering them atop fluffy open-faced omelets and topping them with a variety of meats, cheeses and veggies.
The full-service family restaurant chain is introducing this limited time-only line of Tater Tots-based dishes beginning July 21 and lasting through early October 2014.
The new line, called Hot Tots!, takes crispy, crunchy Tater Tots, places them on a traditional Huddle House fluffy, fresh-whipped open-faced omelet and tops them with a variety of quality meats and cheeses. Ranging in price from $5.99 to$7.69, the new Hot Tots! are each served with a warm, buttery biscuit and are available in the following three varieties:
4 Cheese Tots - Layers of creamy, white cheddar sauce, American, Swiss, and shredded cheddar cheese, topped on an open-faced omelet with crispy Tater Tots, garnished with diced tomatoes.Meat Lover's Tots - A hearty portion of sizzling smokehouse bacon, country sausage and diced ham with sautéed onions and tomatoes, topped with shredded cheddar and white cheddar sauce on an open-faced omelet with crispy Tater Tots.Cheezy Sausage Gravy Tots - Savory white pepper sausage gravy, creamy white cheddar sauce and shredded cheddar cheese, layered on an open-faced omelet with crispy Tater Tots.Philly Cheese Steak Tots - Thinly sliced steak, sautéed with green peppers and onions, layered with creamy white cheddar sauce and shredded cheddar cheese on an open-faced omelet with crispy Tater Tots.

The full-service family restaurant franchise, best known for its warm atmosphere, delicious comfort food, value pricing and of course, its famous breakfasts, is expecting the new Hot Tots! to be a huge hit.
"Tater Tots are traditionally a side dish, but our chefs have figured out a way to transform them into a creative breakfast treat, with a twist that is unique to Huddle House," said CEO Michael Abt.
