Interface Hospitality Has Hired Two New Sales and Marketing Executives

Interface Hospitality has hired two new sales and marketing executives. Named to the newly-created positions, Director of A&D Market Development,  are Philadelphia based Melissa Tully, who is responsible for the Eastern U.S. and Barbara Marcy, based in Denver, who is overseeing the Western half of the country.

"The customization capabilities that Interface Hospitality offers its customers is a huge opportunity for us," said Vice President Charley Knight, who announced the additions. "Barb and Melissa both have tremendous experience in the design world, and understand the limitless possibilities of incorporating Interface Hospitality carpet tile into a project. Their mission is to work with our sales organization to guide and advise the design community on how to leverage use of the product, empowering them to explore carpet tile for hospitality projects and create perfect one-of-a-kind floor covering solutions."

Tully joined Interface three years ago as an account executive in the Philadelphia area. She was formerly in sales at Masland Contract and held positions as an interior designer and project manager at Francis Cauffman in Philadelphia, and Montroy Andersen DeMarco in New York City. Tully received a BA in Interior Design from Drexel University and is a board member of NEWH Philadelphia chapter.

Marcy has more than 20 years of experience in the design industry, most recently as a regional contract sales executive for Brintons. Previously, she was director of creative design for Durkan Carpet, where she had also been a sales representative in the Denver area for more than 12 years. A graduate of Colorado State University with a BA and MFA in Interior Design, she has also held hospitality design positions at Victor Huff Partnership and Ricca Newmark Design, both in Denver, focusing on large hotel projects.

"Throughout their careers, these two women have excelled in facilitating custom carpet specifications and have a unique understanding of the role soft flooring plays in the hospitality design process," said Knight. "We anticipate that their ability to communicate relevant design solutions will help take Interface Hospitality to the next level, and accelerate the hospitality industry's conversion to beautiful, smarter, and more sustainable modular flooring.
