Fpi's Packaging Is Made of Recycled Fibers That Is Sorted and Processed to Remove Metals

US-based Fishery Products International (FPI), a division of High Liner Foods has converted its corrugated case masters to kraft sustainable packaging made from 100% recycled fibers.

The transition from traditional white paper packaging ensures that FPI's packaging is made of recycled fibers that have been sorted and processed to remove any contaminants or metals.

Besides, the pre-printed combination of FPI's traditional logo and the accompanying blue banner have been printed using water-based, metal-free inks and the new materials do not change the structural integrity of the packaging.

The new sustainable packaging is produced through a partnership of Maritime Paper Products; Scotia Recycling and Minas Basin in Nova Scotia.
