Acura, the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automaker Honda Motor, has launched the 2015 Acura ILX luxury car lineup.
The vehicle range includes four grade levels offering different vehicles combined with performance and premium features.
Acura ILX will be available in two powertrain choices, first of which is equipped with the ILX 2L i-VTEC engine paired to the Sequential SportShift five-speed automatic transmission (5AT) to deliver output of 150hp with a 35mpg highway rating.
The vehicle will also be available with the ILX 2.4L i-VTEC powertrain mated to a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission (6MT) that has a highway rating of 31mpg, while producing 201hp.
Features of the new ILX vehicles include 17-inch alloy wheels, projector beam headlights, leather seating surfaces with heated front seats and 8-way power driver's seat, a keyless access system with smart entry, a multi-angle rearview camera and active noise cancellation (ANC).
The model is also available in premium package, which includes XM Radio, USB port and AUX jack connectivity, Bluetooth Audio, Pandora interface, SMS text messaging feature, speed-sensitive volume control, seven-speakers with subwoofer and 360-watt amplifier.
Technology Package of the ILX model has an ELS Surround audio system with Note function music reminder, AcuraLink Satellite Communication System, Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition and AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic with Traffic Rerouting.
Additionally, the company will also pack the technology package with AcuraLink Real-Time Weather with radar image maps and HomeLink.
