Netherlands-based Contimeta has launched the new strapping machine Contistrap 280.
The Contistrap 280, which is said to have the lightest battery strapping tool in its class, has high torque.
Due to the positioning of the motor on the axis of the device, the machine is well balanced centrically, so that both horizontal and vertical straps are simple.
Both PP and PET can be processed by Contistrap with a width of 10-16mm and a thickness of 0.5-1.1mm strapping adjustable to 4 positions: automatic, semi-automatic, manual and 'soft'.
The machine uses a brushless motor from Bosch for faster clamping and sealing time, longer life and reliability. It facilitates the strapping of small and round packages with small circumference.
The aluminum cup of Contistrap 280 makes the device more resistant against drops and bumps.
