City Line Foods Manufacturing Has Recalled Additional 12,282 Pounds of Hot Dog Products

Pennsylvania-based City Line Foods Manufacturing has recalled additional 12,282 pounds of frozen pretzel hot dog products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said.

The company had recalled around 1,196,669 pounds of similar products on 15 November.

According to FSIS, the recalled products contain soy lecithin, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. These were manufactured between 14 November 2013 and 14 November 2014.

These products, which were shipped nationwide for retail distribution and fundraising, have the establishment number "EST. or P-34073" or "34073" inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Initially, the issue was identified by FSIS personnel during a routine labelling review and the additional products were detected by the company while reviewing records.

However, no adverse reactions have been reported so far, FSIS stated.
