Home Furnishings Brands Will Occupy New Spaces in The World Market

LAS VEGAS — Home furnishings brands Stanley, Norwalk, Christopher Guy and Julian Chichester will occupy new spaces in the World Market here at the winter Las Vegas Market, officials said.

The four companies will be in more than 26,000 square feet on the first two floors of Building A for the event, which will run Jan. 28-Feb. 1.

Case goods resource Stanley is making its Las Vegas debut in 11,550 square feet in A-109 and A-110. This will be the company's first trade showroom west of the Mississippi, the market said.

Accent, occasional and upholstery specialist Christopher Guy is relocating from the first floor of building C to an 8,200-square-foot space in A-100. It will show a line of upholstery, chairs, dining tables, mirrors, headboards and office furniture.

British manufacturer Julian Chichester is making its Las Vegas debut with a 2,700-square-foot space in A-133. It will show its Mr. Brown line of occasional and living room furniture.

Upholstery resource Norwalk Furniture, which previously showed in space A-800, will have a 4,200-square-foot showroom on the second floor of Building A.

"Las Vegas Design Center is currently experiencing a renaissance with the enhancement and diversification of its upper end resources to our already strong offering," said Paul Watson, vice president of the Las Vegas Design Center, which now has more than 40 showrooms catering to the design trade. "These new brands each bring a unique design aesthetic and perspective to LVDC. We are thrilled to welcome each new showroom to LVDC, which is fast earning a reputation as the largest and most comprehensive design center in the west."
