Renault Will Start The Production of The New Master Vehicle at Its Curitiba Plant in Brazi

French automobile manufacturer Renault will start the production of the new Master vehicle at its Curitiba plant in Brazil.

The vehicle will be made available in four body structures including the minibus, van, chassis cab and window van along with numerous length and height configurations.

Renault Brazil managing director Olivier Murguet said that the light commercial vehicles (LCV) segment is becoming important in the company's growth strategy in Brazil.

"Our LCVs achieved 24.5% growth over 2011 and we have also increased our service offering for fleets and professional drivers," Murguet added.

Renault Brazil marketing director Frederic Posez said, "Renault Master sets the standard in its segment in Brazil, and keeps a very high residual value in buy-backs."

At present, the New Master vehicles are produced in the LCV plant in the Ayrton Senna complex in Sao Jose dos Pinhais, Brazil.

Renault Master was launched in the country in 2002 and has recorded sales of 8,662 units in 2012, a 17% rise compared to the sales of 2011.
