Global technology and services supplier Metso has signed an agreement with Norampac to supply mill maintenance services for Greenpac Mill in Niagara Falls, New York, US.
As part of the agreement, Metso will establish and manage all maintenance systems and procedures at the mill and will also supply new linerboard machine, which is set to start up in the third quarter of 2013.
Metso will take up complete responsibility of the mill maintenance operations for the entire production facilities at the mill.
According to Metso, the company's mill maintenance model optimizes the use of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), its streamlined reliability centered maintenance (Applied RCM) and condition-based maintenance.
Greenpac Mill is a partnership, which is controlled by Cascades and managed by Cascades Canada's division Norampac.
Norampac operates containerboard and boxboard mills, corrugated product plants, folding carton plants as well as a graphic center in Canada and the US.
