GES Has Sold PV Power-Generating Facilities It Built at Indianapolis International Airport

General Energy Solutions (GES), a Taiwan-based PV module maker and PV EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) contractor, has sold PV power-generating facilities it built at Indianapolis International Airport, Indiana State of the US, in the second phase of a project for US$26 million, making a profit of US$3.7 million, according to Chinese-language newspaper Economic Daily News (EDN).

The PV power-generating project at the airport has total installation capacity of 22.3MWp, with 12.5MWp in the first phase completed in 2013 and the second phase completed in early December with 9.8KWp, EDN said.

GES is a subsidiary of Neo Solar Power, the largest Taiwan-based crystalline silicon solar cell maker.
