Brazil Route2 gas pipeline, in which Sinopec had a stake, has been put into operation recently. This pipeline is Brazil’s largest submerged gas pipeline, with a length of 401 kilometers and a transportation capacity of 13 million cubic meters per day. The pipeline is mainly used for outputting natural gas from an under-salt oilfield in Santos Basin to a gas terminal in Cabiunas, Macae.
