Feldmuehle to Restructure Product Portfolio

Feldmuehle Uetersen, a manufacturer of label papers, packaging papers and graphic papers, is restructuring its product portfolio and sales organization to strengthen its market position.

As part of the exercise, six product segments of the company have been brought under the business areas of Labelling Applications, Packaging Solutions and Graphical Options.

Following the reorganization, the sales structure is expected to be more customer-oriented. The sales support and field sales employees, who will specialize in one of the three business areas, will be able to offer better advice to customers.

With focus on high-quality packaging papers, label papers, graphic papers and cardboard, the company is keen on meeting the requirements of the market.

Feldmuehle intends to utilize the expertise and experience of the employees and the flexible possibilities of the machine fleet to meet the customer requirements.

The company is focusing on products with particularly high whiteness and premium character to strengthen its graphic product range. It will integrate the high white cardboard, VivaCard, and introduce another product to offer a broader graphic portfolio to the customers.

Feldmuehle will also expand its high-quality portfolio of label papers with innovative products. The company will introduce new product solutions in the flexible packaging papers and liners business, and offer innovative specialties to the customers.

Feldmuehle Uetersen managing director Heiner Kayser said: “We are concentrating on our greatest strengths. Our aim is to be particularly close to the customer, to find innovative solutions for specific requirements and to constantly set standards in terms of quality and customer service.”
